New York Fashion Week and what’s hot these days

 

Unfortunately we could not all be at the New York fashion week that was being held from 10 till 17 September. But thank god for internet , right ? So we all can have our little front row moment.

there were shows from Marc Jacob, Anna Sui ,Donna Karen and Alexander Wang to just name a few.

Minimalistic chic that was ne thing that really came back in all shows. Glamour was added by color or by fabrics and they wee all fabulous.

How was sitting front row ? Zac Posen came to see Oscar De la Renta while Rachel Zoe include more shows of course included at Marc Jacobs. Vogues’'s Ann Wintour was also to be seen at Donna Karen and Lauren Conrad was sitting at Philip Lim.

I guess we all can keep dreaming and who knows one day i will post pictures of Sarah Busby sitting front row at Chanel,Cavalli  or Oscar de la Renta !

 

 

Review

Anna Sui

One of my favorites if not my favorite show of New York fashion week ! I love love love the rich materials, the military jackets, the statements prints and the circus overal theme. To me it tells a story of a very powerfull woman. She is in defeintely in charge and original ! I loved the hat !

 

 

 

Oscar De La Renta

One of my favorite designers. I makes dresses so well ,you wonder how someone ca be so talented. with a surprises Zac posen sitting front row to see ‘'the master’’ himself ,it was a fabulous collection. Rich colors and fabrics, all very sophisticated.

 

 

Philip Lim

Great collection that is rely based on the base…the basics. This collection wasn't necessarily created by a theme. It was suppose to be a collection that is easy to sell. And indeed it became. Every single piece is a piece that you can daily wear and is easy to combine. There were quit some red color in the collection. Sexy !

 

 

Mulberry

a very fun youthful playfully collection. To me this is what fashion is all about. The use of bright colors that stand out by the simple designs. The collection is seventies inspired . i love how this collection says to me come with me and lets have some fun !

 

 

We may have seen great spring collections at New York but truth be told the summer is over. So we have to keep our self warm and still look fabulous.Why not start with these fabulous looks ?

No winter or fall without over the knee boots ! I had to show off one of my favorite trends this years! Sexy and fabulous !

 

ITs all about yves Saint Laurent

Basic simple black but never out of style. A oversized logo tee , some black heels en a long jacket mixed with a leather fabulous bag. All is left are some oversized sunnies ! Must have pieces of a fabulous basic wardrobe !
